Frequently Asked Questions
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. As professional orange county swimming pool contractors, we manage the full approval process.
How much does a custom swimming pool cost in Orange County?
Custom swimming pool costs in Orange County typically range from the mid five figures for a basic gunite pool to well over six figures for a full pool-and-spa package with water features and integrated landscaping. Aquaterra Landscape provides a detailed, itemized estimate after an on-site consultation — no vague ranges.
What's the difference between a "pool contractor" and a "pool and landscape company"?
A pool contractor typically builds only the pool shell and equipment. Aquaterra Landscape is a full design-build pool contractor and landscape company — meaning hardscape, planting, lighting, and water features are designed and permitted alongside the pool itself, in one project timeline.
Are you licensed to build pools in Orange County?
Yes. Aquaterra Landscape is a licensed and insured California contractor (CSLB #[LICENSE NUMBER]) handling design, permitting, and construction for pools throughout Orange County, including Newport Beach, Irvine, and Santa Ana.
Do you build pools outside Orange County too?
Yes — in addition to Orange County, we build custom pool and landscape projects in Los Angeles, including Porter Ranch.
TESTIMONIALS
What Homeowners Say About Our Pool Builds
Real reviews from Orange County homeowners — 4.9★ on Google
"We wanted a complete backyard transformation: a pool with a wet deck, a jacuzzi, landscaping around the back and sides, and finished walkways. We ultimately chose Aquaterra, and they've been incredible. Their work crews are highly experienced and coordinate each phase seamlessly to ensure everything is done correctly and efficiently."
"We are absolutely thrilled with the results of our pool build with Aquaterra. Patrick, our designer, guided us from initial planning to selecting materials and landscaping at vendor locations, making the process smooth and enjoyable. We're so glad we chose Aquaterra to build our pool."
"The pool is a highlight, especially during the hot summer months. The water feature they designed has become a centerpiece of our home. It's visible from the living room, and the calming sound of water brings a beautiful ambiance to the space, especially when guests come over."
"With an existing design in place, Patrick offered his thoughts and suggestions, such as raising the outdoor kitchen deck, removing unnecessary planters, and upgrading the pool to an infinity pool. We were very satisfied with the materials Patrick recommended as well."
